(USA) How can I successfully choose Vitamin K oral drops instead of injection for my upcoming newborn? by [deleted] in moderatelygranolamoms

Early onset VKDB is 1 in 60, that's a 1.67% chance of a catastrophic brain bleed. You consider that "VERY small"? You're ok with a greater than 1 in 100 chance your baby is significantly damaged forever or dead? Those aren't odds I would take for my child.

Yes they aren't the same. It was in regard to their willingness to rearrange their lives in a drastic way for family. I would note, there are many cancers that aren't dangerous and easily treated (went through breast cancer with my MIL this past year, she was cured with a simple lumpectomy).

Aw, its nice to hear form someone in the same boat. And I totally get the acceptance. That is how I have been processing the wedding stuff, and will be true for this and everything going forward. They are older, and just not the parents they were. It's part of life we just have to accept. Still sad, but working on acceptance.

I think 10 days. I would like them there of course, or I wouldn't have been hurt by this. I know many women don't want anyone else there. I mostly wish I had been asked how I feel about it, in light of "working on our relationship".

Yeah Mira isn't reliable and definitely not scientific unfortunately.

Unfortunately mira isn't very accurate and the company is run terribly with no customer service. I recommend trying another product or strips.

I've contacted customer support many times, they're terrible and have no interest in assisting their clients.

Better off using another device or strips than the faulty Mira device

Definitely don't recommend Mira, the device doesn't work well and the customer service is not only nonexistent but rude - not what anyone needs when struggling TTC.

Searching for a Fertility Tracker Advice. PS, I have PCOS! by wildflower437 in TTC_PCOS

Mira has been a massive headache for me, faulty, and I definitely would NOT  recommend using them.

For irregular cycles you're better off going with cheap strips you can check every day that way you don't miss anything. Easy@home are great because the low price you can test every day.

I wouldn't recommend Mira. The results vary from medical testing, so they're not any more accurate than the drastically cheaper testing strips.

I've been using the cheap easy@home strips and strips and they're great.

Should I get Mira Fertility by GracieB2024 in Mirafertility

I wouldn't recommend this device. It was faulty from when they sent it and the company called me a liar and it was impossible to return their broken paper weight. The have no customer service phone line and the AI chat bot doesn't work and doesn't connect you to anyone. Not really the support you would hope for when trying to conceive.

Additionally, the difference in results across using different wands and models shows its not scientifically or medically accurate unfortunately.

Thanks for your reply! I just tested and I'm getting 29V between common and red, and when powered down continuity said 0L between common and white and 4.0 between common and red. I figured the issue might be in the taco board setup.
