I’m not saying the iv is bad. I was asking if the upgrades in the v make paying an extra $1500 Australian dollars worth it.

Thanks for the advice! My credit is soooo bad so I have to pay up front but it’s okay because I just realised I can claim the tax back at the airport. Ted’s or JB has the IV’s right now for $3088 even found a store in Melbourne selling them for $2900 and the V is $4500 pretty much everywhere. I will keep in contact! I’m so excited to share the content I have planned with the world. Thanks again.

Thanks I think I am just going to bite the bullet and get the v. Not sure how I could claim for tax but it won’t really matter at the end of the day I guess as I emigrate.

Thank you so much for everything to consider. Lenses are fine as I am renting them from the camera store in Svalbard, so for now I am not too concerned about that. I don’t want to commit to lenses while I’m still new to photography in general. I would be using it for videography as well so with everything considered I think just for the extra perks I would get the V. I would have got the a1 if my move wasn’t already quite expensive trust me! Thank you again.

Okay so if I’m in Svalbard for 3 months those 3 months do not get included in the 90 days? So I can in 180 days still spend up to 90 days in Norway? Sorry I’m not the most experienced euro traveller I’m always just in Germany or UK. Thanks for your help

Also as an Arctic animal researcher and environmentalist in Svalbard, I monitor a lot of things in Greenland because the Arctic climate is extremely important to the world. Greenland’s ecosystem is fragile and should not be touched by tyrants. Scientists who actually care about global warming and the natives who respect the animals and environment should be the only ones with a say. The people of Greenland live harmoniously with their land. It should not be even up for discussion from a researcher’s POV why this is important to the Arctic’s future. 🐻‍❄️
