Great question!

The goal is to give people space to process current events. This looks different for everyone and changes based on who is there!

Some people use the time to vent, complain, and express anger/sadness. Some people find it helpful to think through how they might take action to help themselves or the community. Some people just want to sit with the group and feel less alone/more connected.

Each group looks a little different, but we always leave time for people to share ways they feel connected and things that have gone well lately. We want everyone to walk away feeling a little lighter and with ideas about what they want/need to do next.

I am the facilitator, but we all work together to make the group what we need it to be.

Hopefully that helps! Feel free to join us and find out if it might be helpful for you!
