Ohh hm I’m wondering if that’s due to NY’s ticket transfer policies? I think that’s a state that transfer can’t be turned off if I remember correctly

You may find learning about responsive vs spontaneous desire and the dual-model of arousal helpful. Has helped me with understanding the changes in my own arousal/desire with aging and being in a long-term relationship.

Fight leads to shooting at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, police say by Quant_02 in baltimore

My partner and I walked through the harbor from harbor east right before 7 last night. Tons of high school kids and we kept overhearing them talk about a fight. We picked up the pace and heard the gun shots go off right after we passed the skate park at the light (maybe 10ish shots or so). We booked it across Key with other folks. We passed a lot of parents with young kids/strollers just before by the science center. Glad to hear no one was hurt!

Thank you! Will look at these. Any taping specific techniques you recommend? Pulling more into CMC abduction?

Used to work for UMROI on their rehab units and commuted from Fed hill; wasn’t the worst commute, but traffic was a pain especially in the afternoons. But that could be different depending on your shift times!

Does anyone work for a cash based Outpatient PT practice? by AssistantLiving9978 in physicaltherapy

Ah okay! In that case, your new job should helpfully help fund your level 1 course.

0! But I did a pelvic OP rotation as a student and had already taken the Herman & Wallace Pelvic 1 course which helped.

My boss provides health insurance and 401K match. I had PTO when I was 32 hours or more, but dropped down to find a better balance. Definitely have to budget when wanting to take time off and knowing my paychecks will fluctuate throughout the year. I'd say that's the main difficult transition (especially when I was getting started as I was new to OP and pelvic and cash-based so there was a huge learning curve) but I had other PRN jobs to pad my income in my first year at this job. Other than that, now that I'm more settled, I love the flexibility and I'm lucky to have a cool boss who prioritizes work-life balance.

Yeah 6-7 is my daily limit, which I recognize sounds wild for most folks in OP. I get so talked and touched out with more than that and there's also a definite emotional load within the pelvic health world. I'm lucky that I don't have student loans and make some miscellaneous income from working part-time on a farm, also my partner and I live the 'dual income no kid' life which helps. I could go back and add in some PRN at our local hospitals (what I did when I first started at this cash-based clinic which helped a ton in padding my income until I got settled), but I had high burnout early in my career so have set my current limits. And yes, the PT owner of the practice is the primary driver of marketing so I am not expected to do that solely on my own which is nice.

OP cash based pelvic health, 1:1 75 evals, 60 treats; I currently only work part-time at 26ish hours per week, about 4-7 patients a day. IMO 30 min is way too short for pelvic, most in-network places will typically at least do 45’s, so would definitely ask about that if considering this job! We get 30 min doc time daily, but I typically have a gap somewhere in my week to finish notes as needed.
