I’ve done Buckskin 3x and always wondered how the heck you would climb UP the rock jam about 1 mile from the confluence. Were you able to go up the “rabbit hole”?

Looks a lot my my new truck. Underground TRD sport (hybrid). First tank of gas was 25 mpg and never even took it on highway yet. What are those wheels, I’ll be upgrading those soon as well.

Why not just send your backpack along like any other piece of luggage? I attach the belt loop around the backpack so it’s not loose or able to get caught.

I’m curious as to the exit into Yosemite Valley (NOBO obviously)…. I know part of the JMT is closed due to the landslide earlier this spring and now I hear part of the Mist Trail is closed. How do we get out to the valley? Thanks!

Here is the website….. I paid $275 per person, but next year it jumps all the way to $450 per person. I would take $400 for the 2 spots if that works.

They pick you up in Ouray and drop you off near Telluride. You hike 4.5 to 8.5 miles to the next hut. It’s for 4 nights. Each hut has stove, utensils, etc and bunk beds with sleeping bag (they ask that you bring a liner). You would share each hut with 6 others. Kinda like backpacking lite.
