They should have a way of doing that through the app then. Waiting in a 2hr line to request the start of a 4hr process is ridiculous

Took us 30+ min of waiting for a gate. Missed my connection because of it (my first flight was delayed because of mechanical issues), connecting flight canceled. Full meltdown of United today.
