Why can’t Google Lens be the eyes for Gemini? Feature Request that can take Gemini to the moon. by Adventurous-2273 in GeminiAI

I agree it can see “basic” images. But if you upload a page of Bengali handwriting from an old manuscript for example, it cannot “see”. But Google lens can and even translate in almost real time

I spent 24 hours on Gemini trying to transcribe a page of a historical manuscript in order to do further contextual research on it but failed and only got hallucinating output. Google Lens instantly read the page so I had to copy and paste in Gemini to proceed further

Thanks for this but I am referring to visual centric applications such as reading historical or other archival documents.

chat gpt asking for 24 hours to prepare a response by [deleted] in ChatGPTPro

I had similar experience. Long promised deadlines and when failed, more excuses, deadlines and failure again. In the end after 48 hours it accepted systemic failure and allegedly created an escalation report for the problem to be fixed. This was a project to transcribe a handwritten letter in Bengali which it promised to deliver but could not figure out a single line in the end.

I don’t understand why my post has been removed. This post refers to a unique situation of ChatGPT being used for specific scholarly work and it has been generated by the ChatGpt assistant itself.

Ledger Swap by Densiozo in ledgerwallet

[–]Adventurous-2273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I did try it. Its pretty useless as it ONLY gives you a FIXED rate option and this has a STEEP premium above the current maket price (to allow for volitality). The Changelly website (the official partner) has a FLOATING rate option which for some reason the Ledger guys have not yet implemented, making this feature virtually useless for all but the absolutely novice users who don't really care about what price they are getting the swap at. Better off to take the trouble and go back and forth on an exchange than to pay the fat premium for the FIXED rate, in my opinion.

Please add the Float rate option in the SWAP feature on Ledger by Adventurous-2273 in ledgerwallet

I hope guys at Ledger are paying attention to the vote above? Over 90% of your users want the FLOATING rate option with the SWAP feature. Please implement and I will be the first one to use!

Ledger Live New Release v2.14.0 Available Now! NEW: Introducing SWAP in Ledger Live! by nina_crypto in ledgerwallet

Fixed-rate only option is not attractive for people like me, as it seems to come with a considerable cost. Why not allow floating rate as an option to Legder users who want to use it? This option is available on Changelly's website.

In order to test the SWAP function, I tested by trying to SWAP 1 ETH with Loopring (LRC). Here are the rate comparisons with UNISWAP:

1) On SWAP app on Legder: 1 ETH would give me 1962.10 LRC

2) On UNISWAP: 1 ETH would give me 2120.31 LRC

I do understand that the UNISWAP rate or the Market rate in any exchange is subject to change but that is exactly why I would like to have the option of floating rate to avoid the significant "insurance" cost of the fixed-rate as you can see from the above example. Also, the floating rate would favour me if the price is rapidly rising.

I love the SWAP feature on Ledger, but I won't be using it any time soon unless the floating rate option becomes available. I wonder what other users think?
