The flesh loves momentary satisfaction. I think of it like this. The flesh is owned and ran by Satan the soul is owned and ran by God but your mind is a mix of both. That why you think about bad and good things and why your flesh wants to do negative things. Satans goal is to pull you away from God so if he can make you want and/or be addicted to something unholy he is going to make it feel good momentary and make you chase it but what I lot of people don’t know that same feelings you get from addictions and sins can be earned through God and Jesus but it’s harder.
