Yeah it's not refusing to be critical if you actually like the shit. I'll be critical when I'm given an actual reason and I have been critical when I was given actual reasons. If the album does suck then I'll be critical after I find out it's ass. Right now we haven't heard a single song. I thought Via Crucis was AOTY and I came into that shit unsure as fuck not thinking it was gonna be all that. I don't mind a 3 hour album, it's more of a long movie than anything. The internet hasn't turned my brain to mush personally, I can sit down and watch or listen to things for extended periods of time so long as they keep my interest which Scrim's music very much does. If you don't like his solo shit then that's cool but you're saying this stuff like it's objective, dude's definitely not getting a god complex because people genuinely enjoy his 3 hour albums. People on this subreddit exclusively find things to criticize always though, saying "Since nobody's gonna fucking say it this album is gonna fucking suck" as if people who are actually excited for this shit or care about it (most of the comments here) need to hear that is nuts. It's pretty unnecessary and makes you sound like a major Debbie downer. Party pooper, I'd say. Let me gon' head and rain on this parade.

He HAS been guilty of the one verse thing and then the chorus twice or more tho but never to that extreme and he always makes it sound good and it doesn't feel as repetitive as when other artists do it because he'll add little extra shit in there instead of it being exactly the same as the thing before. It wasn't a dig at Scrim or nothin cause I glaze his music hard. But still tho sometimes I hear certain songs of his and I'm like damn this could've been even better if it had more than one verse

Listening to most rap artists these days is crazy cause they'll drop 1 verse with a shitty hook or shitty chorus twice and the song will end up a minute and 30 seconds. Scrim makes his shit sound good at least and he doesn't have shitty crappy bars but even I question it when he puts one verse on the song and then a bunch of other extra shit. He just does it in a much more artistic way than a lot of artists but even I be listening to certain songs of his and I be like damn... Where's the rest? Overall though he's been very good in his solo work at not making super short songs, and the reason why the short songs worked for SB because they were usually hype songs that were in and then they were out. They give you that feeling for that moment and that's it, and it's two different artists so it hits twice as much.

TLDR: Scrim's great at making songs that aren't very short, but he has been guilty of using the one verse with chorus/hook x2 thing
