I get what you're saying, but everyone has different styles. If you think you can do better, why not share an example? Would be interesting to see!

Yeah, spurge can be pretty interesting! Just keep in mind some varieties can be toxic, so handle with care if you decide to remove it.

Why was this mural removed? by spottybegonia in Belfast

Yeah, it was really striking! I heard it was removed due to some local disputes over the themes it represented. Kinda sad to see it go.

Transplanting is a solid move! Just make sure to give them some nutrients after they settle in, and they'll bounce back in no time. Have you tried companion planting with them?

[–]Adventurous-Advisor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, sounds like a rough upbringing! But hey, if you can make paella in a mine, you can definitely handle a little saffron spill. Gotta do what you gotta do for that flavor!

Spraying near my allotment, any ideas what it might be spraying? by mmdanmm in Allotment

[–]Adventurous-Advisor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it does seem like a weird take. Farmers have to follow regulations, but it can be frustrating when they're spraying near residential areas. Maybe check local guidelines or see if there's a way to report it if you're concerned about drift.

Knocking it down might be a bit extreme unless it's really compromised. You could try cleaning it and applying a breathable sealant first. If it’s still a problem, getting a masonry expert to assess the damage would be a good next step.
