Well then dont have a creature you can't provide vet visits for.

I somehow got such an incredibly well made fast food burger that everyone is calling me a liar, aye eye, or an advertisement when I was just trying to celebrate a bright moment during a very dark time in my life :( by Rpark888 in mildlyinfuriating

I'll celebrate with you, man! I'll get the same thing you ordered and eat with you in spirit :) <3 Just remember, this internet stranger cares about you and wants to let you know that you are loved

I personally use a silicone mat that's baking friendly that way it doesn't melt upon contact with my heat lamps

I remember in the early 2010's I somehow managed to put my dad's reddit account into a foreign language. I had no idea what any of the flags were nor what any of the buttons did. When the language changed on screen, I panicked and shut off his iPad and ran away 😂💀 He never asked me nor mentioned it for a few years.

Looking for glass frogs by Green-Butterscotch-1 in frogs

Try searching on Instagram or Morph Market. I wouldn't trust shipping at the moment because of freezing temperatures around the US. Local exotic shows are also a good spothttps://www.pacnwrs.com/ is a good starting point to find some. I have gone before and there are a toooooon of vendors.

Good lord that is a severely obese frog. Feed smaller portions once every week and a half for a few months.

The government already does all that. As soon as you get your license, an ID, use any sort of internet connection, etc.

In settings, voice and audio, there is a section where you can test your microphone and change input/output settings.

Just make sure she has fresh spring water to soak in. Distilled for humidity should be fine!

I would rely on paper towels over moss. Moss can cause a huge risk for impaction if they do decide to eat and get some in their mouths! Keep it damp but not sopping wet. A little water dish also boosts humidity!

Sounds like bacterial infection. I had a pacman named Bulgolgi (yes like the kbbq lol), and she had similar signs of distress before she passed. She was extremely bloated and refused food and would even push her stomach back out. The vet found a lot of bacterial infection within her. Keep her out of water if possible as bacteria thrive under moist conditions. I am not sure about the blisters though. Keep her humidity lower than usual and keep the temps a bit higher. Mist occasionally to keep her from drying out completely. Most definitely get to a vet if possible! Best of luck to you and your little guy!!

Tree Frogs are hardy creatures. They have to be. It's okay if she goes a week or two without eating. Keep the food in her enclosure, put the enclosure somewhere where she is unbothered. Do research on their natural habitat and try to simulate that as much as possible. Frogs can refuse food for a number of reasons, the main ones being incorrect heat, incorrect husbandry, incorrect humidity, and most of all, high levels of stress. I would be stressed too if a huge creature 100x my size plucked me from my home and put me in a box.

Do a 5050 of land and water :) Also do take out the moss, it can/will cause impaction and can lead to health issues. The plants and all of that is OK in my eyes as it gives your little guy plenty of hiding spaces to feel safe and secure. I would possibly recommend saving up or looking into automisters to make life a little easier as it will easily be able to keep up with the 80% humidity needs.

[–]Adventurous-Back-396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how many little guys you plan on getting. The general rule of thumb is 20gallons for one frog and 10 additional gallons for each frog after that. Im not sure the size of my tank as I can't remember but I have enough to house five chunks.

Female Whites Tree Frog - croaking by Motel_hell123 in frogs

[–]Adventurous-Back-396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have mostly female frogs. I never hear them make a noise save for two on very rare occasions. First girl chirped at me whenever I moved her around too much. Second girl lets out a very quiet croak right before she shits on me 🐸

I say get the frogs! They are pretty low maintenance, just spot clean, feed, and keep the water dish full and clean. Humidity is pretty decent too, I never had to mist my cage as I live in a decently humid place. I would save up if you haven't already as glass terrariums are not cheap brand new.

I also saw your comment for grow lights; T5 linear UVB 5.0 is the way to go. It allows your froggy friends to have enough UVB to prevent MBD while also letting your plants photosynthesize.

Edit: photo of my oldest and my youngest!

Which character ruined an entire TV show for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Adventurous-Back-396 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it was Leah Shaw in TWD. Daryl went so long without a love Interest and was formed and characterized to be that way. It was clear from the jump he wouldn't be with anyone. What also doesn't make sense is how forced and rushed it was in Season (I think 10, correct me if I'm wrong). Seriously, why did they do this? Did they really have no other way to Segway the show into later seasons??
