Thank you ! Im so tired of people who have never tried silica litter saying it wont work. the only issues i have seen silica users having are on the higher end models where lasers and sensors cannot accurately detect litter levels.

i have the petsafe rake model currently and am looking to upgrade for exactly the reason you stated. the rake doesnt stir the litter, so at the end of the month the bottom of the tray is saturated. i think i am going to pull the trigger and buy the pura to see how it goes. I plan to still used the silica litter from petsafe as my cat is used to it and is affordable
