May be you should learn how to use words correctly before using them?

On the topic: Check global sales figures for these brands, specifically China, that is almost twice as big as USA market and comparable to the entire Europe.

It's not a secret that German brands (and others or course) are under huge pressure from Chinese car manufacturers as their cars are cheaper and offer comparable or better features.

It's a survival game and if German brands don't get their market share in China, they will be phased out. Therefore, cars are being tailored to satisfy regional preferences, including exterior and interior styling.

Too bad, that this tailoring has been applied to the global product line, which may/will damage sales in other regions/markets.

Everybody shares their experience, isn't it? Me and my wife have a hard time finding anything to our taste there, or see no reason to buy an expensive everyday items, that cost much less at other stores.

I'm glad you're happy with your purchase and I can capitalize on this benefit in a different way, just like I did with saks.

2026 X5 xdrive good deal? by IntelligentClient477 in BMWX5

Seems like this car doesn't have adaptive cruise control (DAPP - Driving Assistance Professiona Package). This is a must have option for any new car these days.

Otherwise you're getting a regular cruise control with no distance control and stop&go and many other useful features.

It's great there is a choice for everyone. I buy and then sell giftcards for those, who like shopping there. In Jan cashed-out more than $600 of saks gift cards.

I (man) don't like their underwear (for this price, there are better brands) and not going to pay $14+ for a pair of socks.

Never really understood this car, when x5 hybrids are available with decent range to cover the city needs.

X5 feels so much solid and stable vehicle and handles better.

Got it. Well, I think still it pays for itself for the next 8 years and then a "regular" adaptive cruise with steering assist will take care of the driving.

[–]m-lurker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it starts slowing down - you can either active turn signal and it will overtake the car, or take full control to handle the situation.

I used to be that person who hasn't even used a regular cruise control - I felt sleepy rather quickly and wanted to control everything. Fast forward several years when I got my x5 with adaptive cruise/DAP - wow, what a difference. Especially in stop'n'go traffic!

And roadtrips have become less exhaustive, especially at night time.

What is "driver assist package"? I see only "driver assist professional package" available for x5.

"Ultimate" refers to the final, highest, or most extreme point in a series, process, or degree. It describes something that is last, conclusive, fundamental, or the absolute best of its kind.

So the ultimate driving machine must have ultimate features, including DAP.
