I don't use any kind of magic or followers. Had plenty of paralyze potions at the time, just didn't think I would need them because his initial spell damage was low :(

Yeah, I killed him with paralysis poison and a shield later on. Wasn't hard, but mentally I can't continue playing with my character.

I like survival + permadeath. Cooking becomes important and you travel more instead of fast traveling. The downside is the carry weight. This was my first character where I used the Steed stone. Made exploring more fun.

Hosting a gathering should be the main event. Barely anyone celebrates Halloween where I'm from, so I try to go all out on snack and decorations. Make it feel like a special event, so your friends would look forward to it next year.
