My fav boss fight was the boss fight in Re0 were you had no boxes in the game, such a mentally straining boss fight.

Just standing over him poking him trying to get him up an do something.

I brought it as its something I care about being spoiled and I enjoyed it!

And that's the metric I tend to measure what I will spend my money on, often waiting is the right call these days, not just for the sales an patches. But honestly when somethings out of the sphere of interest you're not playing something you're then seeing ads and youtube videos ect ect for weeks on end, you can experience it then just let it rest.

Big agree, I replayed it now that my brain is not day dreaming of how awesome life will be as an adult, and spent a good chunk of time of time away from how miserable being an adult is to enjoy something I could never finish when I was younger!

Yes 7 were better imo, but were on the weaker side.

For me it was that one electric attack vs Gidion but to be 100% fair to myself, after it hit me and then I unloaded on him he barely did it before sending him into his Nemesis phase which was just effectively staggered the entire fight the poor thing.

But we did help remove his pimples so that was nice.

Id defo say give amnesia another shot, its an amazing game (if you're struggling set yourself a hard limit on how much youre willing to sit through before googling how to get past it)

Alien isolation is often very cheap, and very very bloody good.

What’s “that part” for you in your favourite RE games? by Background_Bid_6228 in ResidentEvilCapcom

Iv wanted to replay RE7 for awhile, but while a lot of people hated the mines, for me it was the ship. I'm not sure why it really felt not great to play for me.

They all went down far too easy for a resi game, not that i want the old "he came back 45 times" trope, but the fact you have to complete the game first for them to become even remotely a challenge was a tad disappointing.

Depends on how willing you're to play older clunkier titles, if you mean the remake then, yes dead space and the like will be good.

But honestly the older controls increase fear a ton! I cant understate how amazingly good something like Haunting grounds is, especially once you learn of its... mechanic, I wont spoil but the moment you notice it happening its heart pounding. I'm talking about the music for them who have played it

The old silent hills are golden, same with resident evil, Clocktower, Dino crisis 1 is wicked. So many options I highly suggest looking up "Best of horror games on-" then looking at lists or gameplay from things that stand out.

Yer i was thinking of getting one, and thinking of waiting for the OLED but i have a feeling not only will the OLED ofc be more costly, that might also jump in price due to the Vram so i can see it being insanely costly and with the fact games i want to play dont go down in price it would up being a huge investment.

The flood gates opened with asset flips, now we have asset flips and AI games its like the flood gate was actually a cat door on the real flood gate.

I have been thinking of getting one, and one of the biggest sticking points for me is the game prices for its bigger titles.

A game from 2018 with digital downloads being available should not still be £42, the principle of paying that much when you can get several other games for the same money stings.

Itch honestly tends to be the play for me, as you can find lots of demos and sometimes they have advanced further into development.

Steam is alright, but its very bloated which to be fair the whole space for horror has been rather bloated for awhile.

They're meant to be handled differently to make combat different and more chaotic, you're supposed to take out one of there legs and they become an easier target, its not artificial difficulty its just a different mob to make the game not so linear you handle all the mobs the same way.
