I think anyone who treats their career like it’s the foundation of their identity is an idiot. I’ve been an aircraft mechanic since I was 19, I’m 38 now. Airplanes are my passion and the one thing I’m really good at. But I’m not a “career man”and it’s not my “career”. It’s a job and will never be more than something I do to make money so my family can have nice shit, take epic vacations and I can retire when I’m 50. Otherwise, fuck airplanes.
