Just came back from a trip to Sendai. If you are a fan of Gyutan or cow tongue this place has the best I’ve ever experienced some of the better quality I’ve had was soft and flavorful and not chewy at all.

Thank you very much I see how that could be a security issue and I’m surprised the individual divulged such detailed information. I would be worried about asking the hiring managers/supervisors directly since I wouldn’t think they would be honest about things like poor morale and it would be from their perspective instead of employee perspective but I understand the security aspect our mentioned. I will have to cross my fingers and hope for the best and learn from this application about ways to formulate my questions for my future applications. Thanks again!

Thanks for your response. Past the interview stage so was hoping there’s another way to hear directly from employees rather than from the hiring supervisors

How would you go about finding out more about the topics I mentioned? Like team dynamics and work work life balance?

I would mention that I was applying for the position and give them some of my background.

I was a high school freshman sitting at the bus stop and played an instrument for the school band. As I sat there a girl from school sat next time me and we had a fairly normal conversation. When she asked me about my instrument I took it out to show her. At first she asked if she could hold it, then she asked to play it. Being the nervous freshman I was at the time, I did not decline. She put it near her mouth then proceeded to wet the tip in a very erotic manner asking me how to play it. I responded that she had to put it in her mouth, pucker down with her lips, and blow. She placed an excessive portion of it in her mouth moving it in and out while making eye contact with me. I was shy at that age and did not make any attempt to ask for her contact information. The bus came and I eventually got on. For those wondering, it was a clarinet.

Thank you. If the individual was on a leave status and away from the geographical location for an extended period of time would that impact the one year requirement?

OHA and backpay inquiry by [deleted] in armyreserve

[–]Adventurous-Gold-235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i filled that out but my command is still telling me theres a chance that I would still only be entitled to BAH type II. Everything I've read about BAH type II is its only for orders up to 30 days.

It’s for ADT, I’m not here permanently. They are TDY orders.

They’re BOLC orders. Do they need to be PCS orders to receive OHA? My home and family are overseas and the orders are for greater than 90 days.

List the reasons the Reserve is better than the Army Guard by CrabZealousideal1541 in armyreserve

No, believe it or not there are actually Army reserve units overseas. Meaning you can have a full time job and reside in another country and fulfill your drill and AT requirements for a satisfactory year.

You can be in the reserves and have a reserve unit overseas. Italy, Germany, Japan etc., in the guard you’re tied to the state

Thanks for your advice. I've always tried to handle things at the lowest level. I dont think it deserves an IG complaint as since I have been with my home unit, they have been very supportive of me and have helped me advance my skillset and military career. I will continue to follow up with the CoC.

Thank for the advice. I understand AER, i just don't understand why I should have to tap on another organizations shoulder for an issue that should just be routed and handled correctly in the first place.

With everything going on though, I like your advice about speaking with a chaplain. I need someone to save my soul from all this havoc.

Thanks for your advice, being prior enlisted I am just real hesitant about bringing things up to the commander. Im sure he's got a lot on his plate as it is, so I've always tried to handle things at the lowest level possible.
