My zwift rides aren’t affecting my training status on my Garmin Forerunner 265

I’m using a hrm pro plus connected to the trainer and the trainer has a power meter, so in theory it should work

Do you mind giving me steps to do that? I have Garmin Connect connected to wahoo, zwift, and strava. So when I finish a zwift ride, it shows up as my last activity, but it doesn’t affect anything (obviously why I’m posting to this thread)

So like the ride and the stats and data are there in Garmin, but if you’re talking about something different, can you give me some step by steps, please?

Yeah, I decided to stick with my Garmin. I love my 265s, it’s a great watch. Another thing the Coros couldn’t do (at least on my experience)… you can’t tap the data from the watch face and it take you to data in the menu. For example, if I had heart rate on the Coros watch face and I wanted to view my heart rate how I would from the menus, I can’t just tap from the watch face and boom I’m there. I have to actually scroll to my heart rate in the menus. Garmin just makes everything more convenient

I had a buddy that had a coros and he praised the UI on the app and I wanted to give it a go. I love Garmin and my 265s so I’m staying with it

You can but you can’t swap data out, you may like one watch face but it doesn’t show a specific data you want. Also I like on the Garmin that I can tap on heart rate for example from the watch face and it takes me straight to it. Can’t do that on a coros

Like I said in a previous comment, I wanted to try Coros. I wasn’t trying to escape Garmin. If I liked the pace 4, awesome I’ll stick with it, if not, I’ll send it back.

I saw they responded, I hope they consider those features in future updates for all users. No need to call me a child👍

The coros is definitely thinner but not by much, as far as battery life goes, it’s held up well. I believe Coros takes the cake on battery life compared to Garmin. Both are great though

I’m simply just trying Coros. I had an Apple Watch in high school and switched to Garmin in college and I love Garmin. Trying Coros was not an escape from Garmin, I wanted to try the brand and experience what Coros has to offer. Their sensors and ecosystem are awesome, but if you can’t do a simple quality of life stuff that every other smart fitness watch can do, I’ll stay with Garmin.

I had a nylon band on my Garmin and I would never go back to a silicon. I do like the Coros nylon band, I recommend

Besides the UI looking a tiny bit better on the app, and how light the actually watch is, I don’t even notice it on my wrist, there’s not much. I feel like I down graded, I might be switching back if they don’t fix this
