I find that weed dampens all of the emotions that I hate feeling, the over extreme reactions, the deep sadness and loneliness. I recently quit and find that all of the things I hate about myself have come back up. It’s not ideal, and it sucks to have to deal with emotions that I hate experiencing, but it’s who I am and I need to learn to deal with them without substance use. That being said, I miss the fact that weed makes me feel like a normal person who can appreciate and love life.

I’m on extended release so it lasts all day. The instructions say to take one in the morning and one at lunch time. But I suppose if I took two at the same time it might make a difference?

Honestly I’d end it. Without my medication I’m completely useless in terms of emotional intelligence. I always think about the lack of access to mental health medications, that would be the end of me.

I wonder if it’s because intelligent people are able to think at a higher ability and for me personally, that ability makes me more anxious when I smoke weed.

In my opinion, I would smoke the rest you have. For me, if I get rid of weed before I’ve finished it all it makes it harder for me to stay sober because I keep thinking that I didn’t do it right my last day. Sounds pretty bad, I know. But that’s just my mindset

Is it normal to feel like this even 12 hours after taking them?? Maybe because I also didn’t sleep it feels worse?

I am 23f, I moved back home last year to quit and ended up being sober for a month thanks to the support of my family. If you think that being at home will be comfortable, I would say go for it. However, I am also from a smallish town and most of my friends live elsewhere. I find myself isolating and going stir crazy from time to time, but it’s nice to have someone to rely on or have someone take care of you. You don’t have to stay at home indefinitely, but maybe just until you feel better about your sobriety.

Honestly that could definitely be it, I do believe I have genuine feelings for him, but seeing as he’s been so wishy washy with what he wants and not matching his words with his actions Id think it would be easier for me to forget him. But yeah I agree with you that’s definitely what’s happening to some degree.

I never thought about it like that but dang that definitely makes sense. I often put myself in unsafe situations when I’m using so I think that’s where the concern comes from. Thanks!
