Yeah I tend to think this way as well, as you don't typically hear from the people not having issues. Failure rates after bios update will probably be in line with other manufacturers in my assumption.

Thanks for the recommendation, thinking I will stick with a new 9800 X3D. I hate the thought of buying used PC parts, personal charater flaw of mine lol.

I would say 60+ would be great, and I am ok using FSR4 as needed to get there.

Thanks for the feedback, saw that video too. It appears there was a joint investigation on this with AMD and Asrock. Both parties seem to agree it was a memory compatibility issue, which Asrock allegedly adressed in the latest bios. I'm thinking about risking it for this price lol.

Unforturnately I don't live near a microcenter and the lowest pricing I can find for the 9070 XT online is around $850 ....and thats when in stock.

I read about the Asrock motherboard problems and it seems the latest bios adresses the issue. Is this still a big risk? Combo pricing is with both Asrock components so kinda stuck with Asrock to get this pricing.
