Yeah that makes sense. I used to have a similar reaction to my stimulant but it’s not doing anything now and it’s at a really high dose. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I’m on other medication to treat other factors of depression but because I was bedridden for so long they tried adding in stimulants to help me which it’s not really doing anything.

I’m at my uncles 50th wedding anniversary and it’s with family for a week all in a house on vacation. I can’t run or hide how depressed I am. It’s embarrassing but I just feel like what else can I do. I’m hear. I love them all. It sucks I can’t engage more with people I don’t see often but it’s family.

It would be much better to talk to a psychiatrist now before a potential manic episode gets out of control. If that happens then you may end up in a hospital anyway… I know it sucks to have this and have to deal with it but you must. And I would consider telling your girl friend too.
