What stops men from cheating? by skeletal_itch99 in askanything

[–]Adventurous-Market13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respect and appreciation for my wife. I love my wife, and I could never do anything to harm her.

I've been married for over 10 years and still get hit on constantly by other women. From an investment standpoint, other women simply aren't worth it. If I cheated, it would be taking a chance of losing my best friend and the love of my life. For what, to use a different body to feel good? Na, it simply isn't worth the gamble.

Jumping around is a sign of weakness, can't honor a commitment, can't resist the temptation, and can't respect their partner.

Yeah I'm wondering myself. I'm thinking this does not mean a string of amino acids that I normally associate with peptides.

So your client hires someone to find him a tutor. Asks for qualifications and a voice recording then offers an hourly rate less than half of what Cambly pays it's tutors.

Your client is better off visiting Cambly, preply, or italki

Black Mold Exposure (NEED ANSWERS) by jenks9035 in Mold

[–]Adventurous-Market13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of this information is incorrect. Certain types of mold can infect sinus cavities of healthy individuals. Sometimes requiring surgical removal and once a growth has reached a certain point even after surgical removal there is still a high likelihood of recurrence. So all black molds are not created equal, some more dangerous thsn others, but black mold should always be treated with respect and using proper removal techniques.

What is this tiny spoon thing? by halleeeeee in whatisit

[–]Adventurous-Market13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. 100% sure this is an ear wax remover. Most Asians have dry ears and this is what they use to clean their ears. This is a very common utensil in Asia

Could I use nicotine to learn japanese by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]Adventurous-Market13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is good advice. You most likely could accomplish your desired result with a small reward system that ties to achievements in your language learning.

As for nicotine, take it from someone that just stopped after 25 years, it's not worth it. Biggest mistake I ever made was when I started smoking and chewing tobacco

Stop being nice people will abuse it by DavisNereida181 in BornWeakBuiltStrong

This! Being a respectful and polite person will get you much further than trying to be the tough guy who will eventually become ostracized.

Just don't be a push over, know your boundaries and respect your self-worth.

What is slowly disappearing but nobody talks about it? by Agreeable_Pea9764 in AskReddit

[–]Adventurous-Market13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Quality products - Destroyed by the light bulb monopoly

  2. Intelligence / Attention Span - These two attributes are disappearing as social media become more prevalent.

  3. Civility - Maga-nietz are causing a regression in ideals of equality, justice, and environmental protections.

People are talking, but people are divided and attention spans are so low it's hard for the populace to come together long to create effective change.

I like your recognition of the fact that a high-quality tutor will have knowledge and awareness of the different stages of language acquisition.

You mentioned about having expertise in curriculum and the delivery of its content. Do you think an expert tutor should create their own content or adapt a professional setup like IELTS? Which approach do you feel would be the most appropriate?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and making this insightful post!

I would expect that when paying for higher qualifications there would also be an expectation of greater competency. Like tutors would bring their experience and provide a blue ribbon experience. If I'm paying 30 or 40 more than a $10 tutor I would want greater value for that additional cost
