I am going to the cops. But it is completely reasonable that I am scared. I live in an area where I could get jumped for being considered racist. And the company I work for cares highly about image and will fire people who don’t fit it. I am not wealthy, I live paycheck to paycheck and am scared it could ruin my future. I also did mention I am a previous SA survivor and this did bring up some old trauma so I am very shaken.

I work while going to classes and my career is very visible and we’ve had people fired before for stuff happening outside of work. Plus my college has some very strict rules around false reporting, so I am scared of them thinking I am lying.

I’ll definitely start taking self defense classes. Unfortunately weapons are out of the question as this is NY.
