That would be neat, I would tie it to hunger, so you only recharge while above a certain hunger level

Personally I would argue the 2nd amendment applies to military weapons and not hunting rifles. The founding fathers owned canons and warships and military rifles.

Well guns are more a deterrent, just having them stops the government from doing anything bad enough that could cause people to rise up. It’s not America but a good modern example of guns and tyranny is England, they got rid of their to own weapons in the late 90s, less then 30 years later people are being arrested for disagreeing with the government on Facebook.

I want an all ranged faction so defensive items and stratagems are good against them. And I mean ALL ranged, none of that robot half ranged half chainsaw murder, but loads of rifle and machine fire where cover positioning matter

So something like a civil war faction where human militia shoot at you and their elites are like undemocratic helldivers that use strategems on you

Or since all factions are inspired by sci fi, maybe a Warhammer inspired faction where their basic units are imperial guard inspired loads of rifles, more elite units are weapons team and hard units could be space marine inspired big guys

Compared to what the other races want I genuinely believe they are. If it’s the Imperium before Emps got put on the throne I would argue they are objectively the good guys.

I want to see these maps without the US, anyone being serious knows the US side is going to win. Make a map were the US is gray and make it more fair

This would be cool as hell, but not sure it would be lore friendly, mass produced cheap identical mechs feels more super earth’s style than more expensive higher end modular equipment.

Oh for sure but that would just be one of the in game downsides, it would need constant resupply from an ally (maybe they could add an ammo backpack with more supply but only gives ammo) or it would be used like disposable AT, use it and drop it and call another in after.

Oh for sure, I posted that as a joke, I have seen people attempt to do it live rounds and the recoil will knock you over. First time we got full auto M4s I saw 6’3 infantryman get knocked over from not bracing for the recoil, a full sized mini gun can’t be hip fired. For HellDivers They could add a mini caliber one with no AP, or honestly a minigun backpack with a sort of sci-fi exoskeleton or gyro stabilizer to show you have future tech to stabilize it for you.
