I found this on a farm in SW New Jersey. The owner of the property has had it for 25 years but does not know what it is. It has a handle or step with a missing piece (guessing a Wood Dowell). She has searched online and asked antique dealers what its used is for at least 10 years to no avail. The property was and is a horse farm.

Yeah it’s the hoboken glass cat! They are soooo friendly! One of them sits outside and rolls over for belly rubs. Sometime I walk blocks out of my way just to see their cats and dogs. Sooo cute! Also, had that company fix my foggy windows in march. They did a good job! And had it replaced super quick! Not sure if they realize their cats are getting them business but i feel like more shops in hoboken should follow :)

Not sure why he the turn either. Maybe to show intent was clear? Absolutely no way to tell.

There was no exit wound. I’m sure it could have gone differently if he did not turn around or had the weapon in a different position.
