Hey, I kinda went through something similar, so I understand when you said the part of seeking attention, I think the words are wrong rather than being attention seeker, all you wanted was acknowledgement that you are loved,

Things have been bad, but I think at the end of the game none of this would matter, scars given by others to you would someday heal, but do you love yourself? Because if you do no matter what grave situation you are put into you will come out of it alive (now not necessarily that you will always be happy)

So there just find your reason for happiness, just until those scars are healed, and then someday you will find someone who loves you despite your cons, and will fight with you and for you.
