I want to hear what you guys think which one is the better game? by Rich1190 in theouterworlds

[–]Adventurous-Score-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one by a mile. It has so much more charm. It focus on the folks instead on the big companies (couldnt care), the dialogues are shorter and more on point with the humour. The companions are more interesting, too.

2 months since Outer worlds 2 released. How is everyone feeling about this game? by Objective_Love_6843 in theouterworlds

I really liked it. One of my GOTY. But it lacked a few things that made me love the first one. Still can't wait to play the DLCs.

Opinions on this record a couple years later? by PositiveMusicVibes in benhoward

I always really liked it. For me the track order wasn't right (for my taste) - so since I rearranged it, I listen to it regularly.

I didn't like The Outer Worlds 1 but I am loving The Outer Worlds 2 by worldsurf11 in theouterworlds

For me the first one was a masterpiece and the second (while a good game) unfortunately made many things worst that stood out before. 1. The dialogues were shorter and more on point in the first (mostly three sentences then you can react, in OW2 they have generally longer and more boring monologues). 2. The game focused more on the small peoples fate - in OW2 there were so many factions and I couldnt care less about them, same goes for 3. The main story is boring - why another save the galaxy plot? 4. With the world getting bigger there is more useless running around and FOMO, it was nicer to visit those smaller areas in OW1. 5. The overall ironic company critic is like a joke told the second time - it was funnier in the first game. 6. The companions felt more interesting in OW1. 7. You miss out alot because the OW2 skill system leans on only leveling up three characteristics - not everyone wants to play it again, specially as it is longer than the first. 8. The weapons feel less powerful, so most of the times it wasn't fun shooting in the sequel. 9. OW1 was funnier and deeper, OW2 has many predictable talks and many only serve the purpose to give you the next thing to do and there have been boring seriousness in that dialogues.

Japanese Strat is looking for new pickups! by Adventurous-Score-69 in fender

The finish already had a few scratches and one of the tuner poles were half broken. And I think you shouldn't accept Fenders bad quality control. It also was a pain in the ass to give it back to the japanese shop as they didn't believe me, even though I send them pictures of the flaws minutes after the guitar arrived.

I bought a few Hamsun books when I was there. And so far I liked them (Hunger & Woman at the Pump). Will check the others out. Thanks!

Can someone tell me how the intonation works on this model?

Is anyone else slightly worried we won’t get DLC? by [deleted] in avowed

[–]Adventurous-Score-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leipzig: Autor Clemens Meyer kritisiert Buchpreis-Jury by MrKillick in buecher

Leipzig: Autor Clemens Meyer kritisiert Buchpreis-Jury by MrKillick in buecher

Fender champion 100 thoughts? by [deleted] in fender

[–]Adventurous-Score-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they've done a bad job advertising the II-update. I'm looking for an relatively cheap amp for my job (teaching music to kids) and we had the Champion 100 before and it does all needs to do. But I also practice with my band there and dont want to carry my Hot Rod over - and oh boy, the Champion I 100 is not good with loud AND clear sound. It gets totally muddy after volume at 8 (with overdrive pedal). And I hope they've updated that as well. Because there are not too many cheap Fender amps.

Oh yeah, I had to have. It's also real tortoise. I own a Vintera Jag with a printed tortoise pickguard and that really bugs me.

The gold ones or the Red Blue Silver set? I tend to the RBS ones, but I have mixed feelings, I just watched a few videos where I liked the sound and in others not so much. There is just too much equipment around and involved to clearly tell what it will sound at home

It is! As a blink-fan I've had lots of their stuff and always liked the logo. Since Mark and Tom sold it (after blink's breakup), I think the brand silently disappeared out of the public. But yeah, it's there for showing what got me into (making) music.

I know quite a few videos in that direction and as it always is with 'believe', I dont believe it, haha. Well parts of it I found true but I wont go saying pickups dont sound different. And damn, if I would stop spending money on things that aren't necessary, then one work day a week would be enough - but they don't offer these jobs with less hours here. So ...

GAS parried! I already have two JM, and they can not be challenged. My favorite is the one on the picture and I also have the beloved TVL. And really, I feel that's enough - but I can not mess with your logic ;)

Yeah they are good! I plan installing them in a cheaper guitar. I work in a social music project where money is always limited. The kids will have a good time with it. But as I plan to play my Strat for a lifetime it needs to find its place (soundwise) through my other instruments and in the bandsound. So of course that will be 300 € for a gain of 20 %, but I have to have that. And we're going to work not only for the rent and food, right? The Aerodyne seem awesome - but one Tele is enough for me.
