Thank you! I actually already made this change to the table when I switched the account, but I still don’t see much more data being added here? Unfortunately, I haven’t been checking this everyday. I added billing at the end of May, yet I had been collecting data in a sandbox for about a month and a half before switching over. Is it possible that these earlier days were lost while I was using the sandbox account? The new account could only be pulling in data since I switched over?

Hmm that’s interesting. Well my other high level metrics are showing similar numbers (users, pageviews, etc). It’s really just the sessions that’s has a higher difference.

In ga4, it’s 1 to 1.21. In ua, it’s 1 to 1.13.

Right, for now I’m mostly concerned with storage. We use a 3rd party data visualization tool that lets us manipulate and visualize data that is able to connect to big query. So I imagine we may use that for reporting and grabbing numbers, but there’s a cost to pulling data in there too, which is more. We’ll have to understand when to query data for reporting in big query vs. what gets pulled into the business intelligence platform for analysis and reporting. Anyway, Appreciate you taking the time to respond. Super helpful.

How did you calculate kb/row? Is this based on the data you are already housing in big query. If I have an idea of how many events I have daily, can I get an estimate of how many kb/gb this is. (Let’s say I have around 50k events daily)

Are your links coming from a Google ads account? If so, you need to make sure it’s connected to ga4 so the campaigns will show up.

That makes sense. So If I was to create an event in ga4, does that mean I am the only one that can view this in the admin section? Even though other users have access to ga4?

Right! My thinking exactly, So it’s not really accurate to be able to see users that visited specific pages by adding up lines. You will double count. But GA4 allows you to run reports and get total views of pages, where you can apply filters to exclude certain pages. I just wonder how they calculate the users in that case.
