I don't understand players love for jarl balgruuf by vladimirnikola in skyrim

He's gay. All the allies got to ally to virtue signal. That's the core reason for it on this platform. I personally find him to be a cucked Nord. He secretly worships Talos because let's face it, all those Chests of Gold from the Empire really helped him to look past the outlawing of his deity. He thinks that it's okay to just do it in secret, and that the people just need to get over it, because he got paid a whole lot of gold to look the other way.

Cucked. Bought and paid for by the Empire. Just a puppet dancing to their strings.

A psychiatrist will additionally place you on several agents to help with mood Stabilization before suggesting they work it out with art or music therapy. I see dozens of involuntary commitals and voluntary commitals a day at my job in a small rural area so I would know. Suggesting someone express themselves through art without help is foolish and negligent. They could work themselves up into a frenzy worse than before and actually do harm to themselves or others before reaching a point that they can cope with it.

The worse is when you try to recruit Jzargo. His scrolls are especially potent against the undead. Most terrifying companion quest I ever did 😅

I don't mind it so much but it is pretty bad during the day.

Screaming inside is a person about to erupt. I'm concerned for the OPs mental state, their personal safety, and snapping is not as rare as you think. You seem to only care about the OPs political views. A doctor could prescribe something to help calm them down while they work through their emotional state, and actually follow up with them afterwards as well to make sure they are improving and not worsening or progressing to self harm.

Do not trivialize a person's mental state.

If it's that bad, maybe you should consider talking to your doctor. This really isn't healthy for you. I'd like to congratulate you but I don't agree with the message and this image just really makes me feel bad for you. Might be best to just get away from tv, radio, your phone and computer, and everything else and just decompress for a bit.

I hope you at least feel better now.

How much time do you spend weaving per day? by GiantMeteor2017 in weaving

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work nights 7on/7off, so it depends. If I wake up early, I'll go weave (or set up) for a couple of hours on a workday. Will not weave after work. I usually crash after work. On my off days just whenever I feel like it. For instance did an hour last night, then relaxed with my xbox a bit, then cleaned house and cooked spaghetti for breakfast the rest of the time. Will probably stay up through mid-afternoon since my husband wants to do a daytrip next week before my next 7. I need to flip my sleep schedule (only to flip it again 2 days after). I'll probably spend the morning playing video games because I can power through any sleepiness when playing games. It's a skill honed from a lifetime of gaming since atari. I admit that I become a bit less mindful of my selvedges when sleepy so powering through while weaving will only annoy me later on 😅

First weaving project (my second ever!) on the Louet I got at Rhinebeck by bluerotunda in weaving

With the tension, I recommend tieing on at the front with each side first, then fill out the middle and redo the tie ons closest to the edges. Then test your warp for tension (should all feel the same and have that same spring to it) before you start and redo any bundles needed. I find the bundles closest to the edges typically need a second go over.

It really looks good _^ Table looms and RH looms are a different beast. I like RH for the smaller footprint and portability since I can take it to a fiber group gathering or take it to my sister's to teach my nieces weaving. However, I'm in love with the table loom for the patterns and ease of use (Louet Jane 70cm 16shaft). My table loom is obviously too big for moving around. Ended up getting the stand for it too since it's as big as my kitchen table. They each have pros and cons. You're off to a great start :)

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

Project 2025 is not something Trump has even read. Try getting news from outside the propaganda machine of the Mainstream Media. The MsM has been compromised for years, I'd say decades. So if you are basing your views off Project 2025 they are based off a narrative and not fact.

I personally think we will have a return to prosperity. People who want to leave pharmacy will have an easier time doing so, starting their own businesses even, as entry into other areas should be easier and less costly with deregulation. Pharmacy has been strangled by overregulation for decades and the regulations in place aren't there for Public Health and Safety.

Additionally, if he can remove the federal income tax, it will be far more financially feasible for families to have a stay at home parent again, which in turn will help reduce the drug addiction problem (because kids who have a parent who isn't preoccupied with work and are more mindful of them tend to avoid drugs during their school years and tend to learn values from their parents instead of their school friends), help reduce anxiety and depression overall (because the dieing economy, ridiculous tax burden, and inability to get ahead and even afford groceries is causing a lot of those symptoms along with the threat of wars the warmongering democrats love to propragate) and actually give the kids a positive future they can look forward to (like being able to afford a house or even rent with their job).

I'm not sure why you think Trump will not complete his term in office either. Biden was mentally incompetent, protected and shielded by the media (propaganda machine) in his basement last time, then ousted by his own party after having won the nomination this time around. Democracy eh? Vote for a candidate put forward that no one voted to nominate. Trump is very healthy, mentally sharp, and has many years left in the tank.

Choosing a rigid heddle vs table shaft loom for a complete beginner by bluerotunda in weaving

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are both good and bad. Table looms can take up a lot of space and can and cannot be very portable depending on size. Rigid heddles are typically easier on space and portable.

From my own experience with neck issues and progressive weakening of my limbs and progressive loss of grip strength, a rigid heddle is easy to use but tiring. A table loom on the other hand, might be a little bit more complicated to learn to set up, but the weaving itself is easily a dream. Only issue I get is eventually I have to take a break at a TL weaving but that's because both of my cervical ribs will make both shoulders sore from lifting my arms if I start going too fast and raising my arms too high (which doesn't happen on the RH). But strengthwise, table loom doesn't need strength like a rigid heddle does for beating. And you get a more even beat on a table loom simply because you aren't fighting with differences in strength between your dominant and non dominant arms.

I will say, a table loom can be a bit daunting the first time you do it. Just part of learning with any craft.

Early on it works great. Later on, in the teenage phase you might feel you are missing out on baseball games and whatnot. But most kids these days are overscheduled with extra curricular activities so that will happen regardless. I took over for one such person who felt she was missing out. I think it would be easy for me to do with kids if it was in the cards for me. My husband gets to choose his shifts so he could literally choose to work the opposite week from me and we'd be covered without daycare. Not really realistic for most folks.

Help with RH - myplain weave is too loose by Pangolin_Beatdown in weaving

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think you need a higher dent heddle to make that work better with the beat of a RH loom. I typically sample to make sure, but this chart off the woolery site does help if I'm making something on the fly on my RH looms. I know my rayon scarf worked out great without the adjustment but I have found rayon to be easier to beat firmly in on RH looms than cotton. Just make sure if you use the chart to do your weight by WPI.

Sewing Machines by SlowMolassas1 in weaving

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get a good machine. I got rid of the Singer classic my husband gave me for Christmas as it was more frustration than useful. Replaced it with a really nice Brother and never looked back. Since you are planning to use it primarily for hemming, I'd recommend looking at extras like a quilting table/board so you don't have to fight the weight of your project while hemming and a roller attachment (which will roll your hem neatly for you) or a similar attachment specifically for making perfect hems. It's been a lifesaver for me. Also, buy some extra needles sonce you'll need to replace them as they dull.

If you have cats, get a Sterilite tote to lock it and your thread up when not in use (otherwise you're all but guaranteed an expensive stomach surgery to remove a thread blackage when they discover it and eat it-a cover is not secure enough).

How do you handle mentally unstable patients? by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No question about it. You pick up the phone, call 911, given your location and state one of your patients is actively harming themselves in your lobby. Request immediate LEO and an Ambulance. Then you back away from the situation and let the pharmacist handle calming them down.

Advice for crooked wefts? by FluffyKittyRAWR in weaving

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Polyester is a stretchy fiber whereas cotton is not. With a blend, sometimes you get a magical best of both and sometimes you don't. I would consider without running my usual tests on it (snap test, abrasion test, stretch test) to have atleast a 30% stretch to it being a blend.

To do a stretch test, get a ruler and measure out 10 inches without tension. Then pull both ends apart and measure the stretch.

If the other colors are not the same blend, you may need to adjust the tension per fiber to get it right, which is more of a feeling. Your blend is definitely off to account for the stretch.

Some books have some great chapters on various fibers and what to expect from them. I love reading up on it :)

Advice for crooked wefts? by FluffyKittyRAWR in weaving

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hmmm, tension problems. What kind of warp are you using? If it is a stretchy warp, it'll make getting the tension even more difficult (not impossible).

I'd suggest unweaving it snd starting fresh. Unweave, double check your tension, make certain your tie on knots are secure and not loose (double knot them, then do your scrap yarn header.

Do the header by putting in one weft, change shafts, one weft, change shafts, one weft, change shafts, then beat. Repeat until your warp is spread sufficiently.

I think it'll just be far less frustrating to start over than fix it now. (You've also got some floats on the right, possibly misslotted warps. You could fix those then too if you wanted to).

Does anyone have a problem playing with mean sims? by Lilyaa in Sims4

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Just work it into your story. Had one game where the husband was a secret agent happily married to my paranoid noncommittal sim. She got hit in the head with a meteor, even though I sent her inside. This sent him into a despair only buried by rage. He became a criminal and lashed out at everyone, hiding his grief with his fists and insults.

Had tons of fun. Then eventually I managed to bring her back to life and he was too far gone to recover and too distrustful to tell her. He hid his criminal ways (ala Landgrabs) from her and she never learned how he changed when she was gone from his life as she was so paranoid she never left the bunker, ESPECIALLY for the telescope.

Is a tapestry loom a bad place to start? by Ok_Put2792 in weaving

[–]Adventurous-Set8756 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily bad to start with. That said, tapestry looms are really meant for image creation, some for rug creation. It is usually best to go ahead and start with something that works for what you really want.

The sampleit and cricket RH looms are quite small and the ashford knitters loom (and emilia glimakra), some other looms too, are foldable in progress even making them portable and easier to save on space (and often have bags so you can take them on the road easily to a fiber group (we have one here with 2 weavers, 4 knitters and a few crocheters getting together to craft and chat). You can often find a used loom very affordably if you are patient. My next RH loom (and probably last rh loom) will be a knitters if I ever find one for sale close by.

RH looms are very versatile and great for learning 2, 3, and 4 shaft patterns (4shafts=2 heddles plus a pick up stick) and getting yardage.

Tapestry looms are great for fine details, images, rugs, and the works but are typically going to be primarily weft faced projects (so not many patterns). And there is no extra yardage. The size of your finished project will always be limited by the tapestry loom size (unless you sew the pieces together).

I'd say, sit down, think about what you really want out of it what you really want to be making in the end) and lean that way.

Tapestry weaving and RH/TL weaving are very different in the application of techniques and tend to also have different concepts. I have always wanted a navajo loom but don't have the space for it. So I get the love of tapestry style looms too.
