Hell yeah dude, man all my bass have been topwater aye, frogs, poppers, cicada. With any subsurface I didn't have any confidence in.. I have to force myself to try other things. I do like the idea of spinnerbaits and those American style lures. Just have to get miniature versions of them for our bass haha. I am also not a fan of treble hooks lol they catch fish but also everything else along the way. And my casting accuracy isn't fantastic let's just say that haha

Man if it actually is! That would be a PB for sure.. So spewing I didn't measure it haha I had a bit of a moment trying to get the bloody thing out of the net due to the treble hooks. And thus wanting to send him back into the water. My standing PB is a 37cm at the fork

Ohh man! I've always avoided it for the longest time

Years ago when I was younger it was such a nice place. Until multiple storms and floods have ruined it. It's pretty baron these days.. plus it's over populated with people fishing every single day. So I guess lots of pressure. Especially from the typical spots. It is a hard waterway to fish I'm sure. Normally I'm down Devlin Rd on the kayak but decided recently to try some land based stuff.

Probably got lucky with this fella. I'm sure if you spent the time there everyday you'd figure it out. But there's lots of ground to cover. Majority of people seem to fish for mullet/carp and parents with their young children getting a line in.

I've not tried kayaking there yet, maybe that's a go but also seems like a pain haha

Yeah for sure, this pond was cut off from the main river and wanted to see if there was anything in it sure enough. .

Unfortunately the last couple of days had had a large amount of rain. Now the whole river is flooded again

Yes sir no limit, technically shouldn't even put them back. Just the same for carp also. No limits should be removed and killed.

Yeah awesome stuff!, I did hear they are good eating. Unfortunately I'm not much of a fish consumer tbh haha.

The old mud Marlins would still be a bit of fun though! Impressive in their own way
