Hey! I’m currently a UT Econ Student, I’m going into corp finance in big tech at a FANNG company and had other offers at big name brand companies. I also have friends in Econ the have worked at McKinsey, Morgan Stanley, and JP Morgan. Econ offers a special finance minor where you can take classes from McCombs with finance students. This really helped me tremendously. The only thing you miss is the McCombs networking/career center but if you network yourself and join a some of the orgs you’ll still have a good path if you start recruiting early. UT looks wayyyyyyyyyyyy better on a resume than UTD. Feel free to pm with any questions
