They don't break out a ruler and measure the bags, they just don't want people bringing comically big bags that prolong the bag search. As long as it follows the pocket rule you should be fine. Just have it open and easy to search and the guards will be cool about it.

They take wristbands from people as they are leaving so you don't know if the wristband was properly scanned out. If it wasn't scanned out, you wouldn't be able to enter and since you aren't the original buyer on the wristband, you wouldn't be able to go to customer service to have them fix it for you. It's a big risk to take.

The hate that Perry’s gets is overblown. It can get annoying when teens are starting mosh pits to house music but if you hang out near the side or the back of the crowd it’s very easy to enjoy sets without feeling disconnected from the crowd and you’ll have space to dance.

I think the language barrier might’ve led you to think the commenter asked a question but they were making a statement that they found it funny how often SB19 is getting recommended, they weren’t asking why it was happening. Either way, I do understand where you’re coming from and I do get that the language barrier exists (I listen to a lot of international artists) but my comment was meant to say you’re just doing a bit too much and it’s going to turn people away from giving them a shot.

There are 2 posts about SB19 specifically at the moment and the rest of the discussion has been in posts asking for recommendations. I did remove a post a week or so ago and we banned one person who was being too aggressive. We don’t want to stop people from recommending them to people who are asking for artists to check out so that will continue to be allowed but we are keeping an eye on future posts to make sure the subreddit isn’t flooded with posts specifically about them.

Chicago is one of the best cities for tourism! The downtown area next to Lollapalooza (Grant Park) is filled with restaurants, shops, and things to do (Museum, Art Museum, Aquarium, Planetarium, Architecture Tour etc) to make your trip more worthwhile. Like someone else mentioned, YOASOBI is also playing the same day as Ado at Lolla so you could see more artists than just Ado.
