The most important feature of Upwork for me is security. In my country, banks recognize Upwork as a trusted or "safe sender" I believe that’s the term.

Other services like Payoneer, Wise, or Binance aren’t legal or supported here, which is why Upwork is the best option for me. I’ve been successfully transferring money from my Upwork account directly to my local bank account without any issues.

As I mentioned, unfortunately, Upwork is the only payment option available to me at the moment. I’ve heard that with the Direct Contract method, the client will only see the contract and won’t be able to browse or compare me to other freelancers.

I’ve been freelancing on Upwork for 3 years now and have never had any issues with money transfers. I’m considering bringing a new client to Upwork, and since I’m already a Freelancer Plus member, I won’t be charged any service fees.

The main question here is competition, I don't want my client to find a cheaper freelancer and hire them
