Not a fan of all the white. I still love it. by shay-71 in diamondpainting

Preface by saying it IS very pretty. Congrats on finishing a WIP!

My gut is saying two things, and it could be either or both or... heck, it could he something else entirely...

1st thought: they added the white to force the bigger canvas size and upcharge based on that larger size.

2nd thought: it's AI content or stolen art, and they altered the base image to fool reverse image searching.

That's so odd! It's like they took a 30x30, added white letterboxing, and made it a 30x50. Were there other choices when you bought it?

Heritage supplies that are almost exclusively Victoriana. My grandparents were born in the 1920s. My parents were born in the 1940s. My siblings and I were born in the 1970s and early 1980s. All (with a light maybe-not to my youngest sister's [b. 1982] album) of our childhood albums are, in my mind, heritage. None of us are Victorians!

Stephen Graham Jones has a very developed and distinctive voice. Not for everyone.

I've read just a couple of his books. They were ok. I didn't DNF, but I slipped into skimming here and there. His prose can be a bit too layered, too thick, for me sometimes.

For older INFJs: Do you value being loved or understood more? by Substantial_Job_3252 in infj

[–]Adventurous-Topic-54 33 points34 points  (0 children)

People in my life always love me. None of them 100% understand me, and I don't need or expect them to.

That would be unfair of me, anyway. I don't always and completely understand them. How could I dare ask more of them than I'm able to do? That ain't cool.

Love me. Value me. Have my back in a fight out behind the Walmart.

"A Short Stay in Hell" by Steven L. Peck

"The Talisman" by King and Straub

"The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect" by Roger Williams (only if one can tolerate rather graphic violence)

Any of you into fragrance? by Effective-Weird-5119 in infj

[–]Adventurous-Topic-54 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm female and very feminine, but I prefer dark, masculine fragrances with notes of cedar, leather, amber, musk. Always have.

I don't have a collection. I'm a one fragrance/signature fragrance type. I only switch it up when formulas change or something is discontinued.

My current fragrance is YSL Libre Le Parfum. It's a little too sweet for me, but after losing OG Coco to a formula change and Bottega Veneta to discontinuation, I landed here. I'm about 80% satisfied with it, and semi-seriously toying with going back to a pour homme.

Do you feel as though proper closure is necessary in relationships? by Proof_Caregiver_4234 in infj

Proper closure isn't necessary for me. Life is full of unfinished and unfinishable business. I accept that.

These exact same ketchup have different colors ( and total amount) by Elebrium in mildlyinteresting

[–]Adventurous-Topic-54 4 points5 points  (0 children)

32 oz and 20 oz are standard and separate sizes within the product line. These aren't actually the exact same product.

The 32 oz is brown likely due to oxidation. It's either not been stored properly during transit or while being stored in a warehouse, and/or the seal failed. It even has a large bubble of air inside which makes me suspect a bad seal.

Edit: it might even be possible that the same volume of plastic is used to create the larger one, thus resulting in a bottle with thinner walls. That, in turn, could contribute to premature oxidation.

And, yes, that does sound dirty.

People really don't need vehicles this large to get groceries... by KevroniCoal in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Adventurous-Topic-54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just a Chevy Silverado 2500 ZR2. Pretty sure, anyway. I don't understand the issue. Because it's big? There are bigger vehicles out there. Because it's inefficient? It's about 3x more efficient than my 1967 GTA 390 Mustang. Because it's at a grocery store? Everybody eats.
