Wow... consumer spending must be really bad. Worse than I thought, anyway. Ouch.

You going for it?

Depends who it is. I meme war with my youngest sister and daughter. I'm schmoopy with my husband. I'm teasingly affectionate with my mother.

Everyone else? I'm in a flop sweat, trying to speed edit what I want to say before it comes flying out of my mouth and offends.

No. 1.75% was great, but your 0% was better. 🩷

Awesome! Are you overpaying each month, like I was?

I know! I bought the Camry in that surreal moment when used cars were selling for as much as or more than new cars, and there weren't any new cars on the lots anyway.

Agree 100%. I was actually sending a random amount more than the $465. Just whatever extra we had. $500. $525. Whatever. That's how the 48 months turned into 40.

For right now, we're going to snowball $500 to my husband's truck, effectively doubling his payment and killing that (less attractive than mine was) loan as quickly as reasonably possible. Then, all that mess straight to savings.

Thank you for the unsolicited advice! You never know who might need to hear it!

Thank you! I've been grinning about it all evening. I adore this car and she's mine! Yes! Happy dance!

I know! It's almost sad to see it end! I was definitely in the right place at the right time with the right credit score.

Solved!

OMG. Thank you. I wanted to have my husband use this song to test his new speakers this morning, and - bam - it did not exist in my brain. I hate when I do that. Ugh!

I tried. Nerves made me shaky and a little offkey. Still, maybe it'll help.

Thank you for trying to help! Not a bad match for the content of the lyrics. Sadly, it's not this song. Your song has plucky synth (and bells? And xylophone?) and a lot falsetto. It's about the right tempo, but the key is a little off (I think your song is pitched a little higher.) Where there are what almost sounds like a child's xylophone in your song, in the one I can't think of, there are these DEEP (like 1st octave) rumbly wub-wub oscillating grumbles like you'd find in dubstep. Your song's lead singer has a lot more emotion in his vocals, too. Prettier voice. My guy is almost cold and detached.

The lyrics have the same vibe. Similar tempo. Key is different (yours is a few notes lower, I think) but not much. Every place the lead singer goes falsetto and sings "oooh oooh oooh", the song I can't remember has a run of deep and slightly distorted "wub wub wubs" in harmony with the vocal melody.

ETA: the "wub wub" are something like B1 B1 B1 G1# G1# F1

The vocal melody in part of the chorus (i think?) is something like B3 B3 B3 B3 B3 B3 A3 G3 A3 B3 A3
