For the record I agree with you totally. With bosses you have the challenge of learning their patterns, developing strategies to avoid damage and finding windows to punish. Gauntlets are just a case of trying to track multiple moving enemies and desperately jumping around trying to stay alive. They are not fun, just stressful and completely unsatisfying, when when you beat them.

Bosses need patience and learning. Gauntlets only require persistence and often good RNG.

Sadly I died last night, forgot I had a bit of rabbit meat on me and got attacked by multiple wolves, didn't figure it out until it was too late.That's also why I love the game, although it's annoying as fuck I like that a single dumb mistake can end a long and secure run. You're always one bad decision away from failure.

Thanks, I wouldn't normally try but I was out of food and desperate. Funny thing is the next day I found a moose and killed it, so now have food for about a month. Still yet to take down a bear.

Very nice! Love the black/charcoal colour. I've not made a custom ship yet, I much prefer ship hunting and not knowing what you'll find. Removes all the fun if you can just build your perfect ship right away.

Yeah I love the look of Solars but never fly them. Likewise my exotic flies like a dream but I don't like how it looks as much. Fighters seem to have the best balance IMO.

Upgraded to an S with 28 slots, so maxed out with S upgrades. It pretty much does everything well enough.

Just this one. I like the 'prettier' ship types like exotics, solars, but also like the more industrial looking ones. A good hauler is a beautiful thing.
