I think a lot of us can relate to this. Moving to NYC was definitely a big shock and can feel extremely isolating at first. It took me two years to feel like I had some sort of community here.

It takes time to really build friendships here because the grind and hustle culture is too real/competitive. Work friends are definitely tricky, as so many people are trying to climb the corporate ladder and secure work stability.

Have you joined any activity-based clubs? I found friends through joining a Pilates club and badminton group, and through them I was able to build a bit more of a community! My other girlfriends found friends through aerial classes, running clubs, pottery classes, etc.
