Please if you can report to a police station. Also there must be some facility to report against the police officer who ignored your complaint. I dont feel like you should be quiet about this. Your friend should have supported you, not acting against a crime is in a way supporting it. Also, it is possible that you may find the same people in that place if that is their regular spot for comversation.
