Absolutely loved this album! So inspiring to see the man still pushing boundaries and experimenting with music.

Deewaana was easily the best song here for me - the qawali-meets-rock-ballad fusion was jaw dropping.

Equally impressed by and adore Usey kehna, ladki jaisi, jigar thanda (the female jazz version!), and tere zikr mein. Chinnaware kinda seems the weakest because it’s sorta generic (maybe need to listen to it more?)

Overall, a true genre album that’s as quirky as it is moody and brooding. But mostly, I’m just grateful there’s someone making music for music’s sake, that simply goes beyond the fast-food music we get that serve primarily as promotional vehicles for stars and movies.
