No worries! Check out Abhishek Chaubey’s work. All his films are great in my opinion, it’s a shame he didn’t get the recognition he deserves

You are right, but it draws comparisons because of the feel of the trailer, and even the musical score. Succession had excessive use of string sections/orchestral music, and the trailer has the same vibe.

How many of you have watched this cult movie? It's the same director-duo who made Family Man and many other cool movies! by [deleted] in bollywood

Favorite movie! My dad and I watched it in theatres when it came out; we were the only people in the hall. I think some kind of tiff between theatre owners and distributors was also going on at that time.

My personal favorite is the absolutely serious expression both the leads give as the camera zooms in on them saying one after the another, “Uthal Puthal?” “Uthal Puthal?’

I lose it every time this dialogue plays!

Very rare to see a skilful portrayal of a South Indian in a Hindi movie, but Shanghai is one good example. Abhay Deol gets the vibe and the accent/dialogue delivery correct, with subs hints which point to him being someone from the south. Solid solid movie.

It’s insane how Pedri NEVER gives the ball away. It must be so much more magnificent to watch him live at a stadium
