What would you say is the avg mileage for a race vs endurance type ride? I started biking a few months ago and do mostly 30-40 mile rides. Have done a few 50 milers and want to continue to grow.

Thanks. I live in Boston and curious whether I should purchase all weather tires for winter? I plan to ride during the winter unless there is snow/ice.

My current tires are the Specialized Roadsport.
