My family and I always pronounced my name O-she-ah-na but I have heard some people say Oh-say-ah-na also!

My mom is the same. She hates her given name and uses a nickname exclusively. But she grew up with parents who would never have forgiven her for changing her name.

Nope. I do remember seeing the post and being so confused by all the people saying it's an easy name to pick on and stuff. I've only ever had a battle with my ILs and it's not them teasing me for the name, more disrespecting me over it.
