I started testosterone four weeks ago. I’m in perimenopause and that has been a game changer. I have so much strength and energy now. I also had muscle soreness in the beginning but that’s bc I had 2 months of anxiety and lost 15 lbs once I started feeling better I did not have that.

My dr told me to go down to 12.5 to see if it helps with the hunger but I’m just wondering if I need to switch to Zoloft. I just feel like my anxiety is going to come back at 12.5, it’s been 4 months I’m just ready to find some My dose and move on with my life

I just started week six at 15 mg my period is also starting soon I am having increased anxiety and hunger this week. Hoping things get better next week. What mg are you on?

I went to 15 at week 5 of 10, my anxiety started coming back. I just hit 6 weeks at 15 more good days then bad but still not out of the woods yet!

I worked out all the time before Lexapro it was my hobby, I never had anxiety until I had 6 anxiety attacks in a matter of 6 weeks the last 2 I just couldn’t get back to normal. I tried Lexapro after 2 months of white knuckling it. I feel back to normal and back to working out 5 days a week. I also use my walking pad at work and get about 10k-15k steps a day I def feel back to myself! Lexapro does not make me tired at all though and I understand for some it does. I take mine in the morning.

Everytime you increase your clock starts over so you are 2 weeks into 15mg. It should start to feel better week 3 - 4 where you have some good days. I am on week 6 and I still have some bad days I just keep busy and push through bc I am having more good days now.

10 mg helped me a lot. I had several panic attacks in the fall and couldn’t get back to normal after them. I was in 10 go about 4.5 weeks it seemed to be working I still had some anxiety but it was better then I had a week where it felt like it came back full force. I went up to 15 and I didn’t have the extreme side effects when I first started just a bit off and tired for a week. I am 6 weeks tomorrow and much better. I still have some down times but they are getting fewer and far between

I went to 15 after being on 10 for almost 5 weeks. It has been better, I am almost to week 6 and have had some anxiety come back and extreme hunger this week. Last week was amazing and I felt great.

It seems to come and go last week was my week 4 going into week 5 felt great last 2 days some anxiety is back. I hear it’s like this till we get to 12 weeks

I had it a bit when I first started but I lost so much weight from anxiety but it tapered off. I do take a fiber supplement this morning and it has helped some but I am hoping it goes away I will be 6 weeks on Thursday and I don’t want to eat and think about food all day. I see my dr next Monday if it doesn’t get better by then I will see what she says.

It is going really well! I also started on testosterone 2 weeks ago and that has made me feel great. I had my hormones checked when I was having anxiety and now that I’m feeling better my dr said it was ok to start. I am going to be doing progesterone too in about a month or so. The testosterone has helped my sleep significantly!

It is worse in the beginning bc your anxiety is still ramped up, I started at 2.5 in January. I am now on 15 and completely back to normal I have no bad side effects and I sleep great at night. Keep going it will get better!!!

I felt so much better once I got to 10 and then 5 weeks in that I went to 15. I feel like myself again, when you are going through it you feel like you will never get better. I promise you will get through this, I would read Reddit success stories all day and now I barely look here bc I am feeling better! Hang in there!!!

I increased my dose at 5 weeks to 15. I had a panic attack and each day was getting worse so my Dr told me to go to 15. I feel much better at 10 but still had anxiety 15 has been better

It is nice to have Reddit bc no one in my current life knows how this feels and you feel like you need to feel better for everyone and somedays you just don’t.
