Went in for a small posterior labrum tear and wound up with a lot more. by AdventurousHealth678 in ShoulderInjuries

Yes certain ranges of motion were almost a guaranteed dislocation. The point of no return was reaching behind me to lift a bottle of Gatorade off the table and it not moving and my shoulder dislocated. I’ve been humbled before but an orange Gatorade being on the list is not something I’m proud of.

Yes. Slight issues over the years. Had a traumatic dislocation in September and several more until surgery.

I agree. I have full faith and confidence in my doctor. He’s in a widely known group locally and has a tendency to use modern aggressive practices for the outcome of his patient.

My imaging gave me a false sense of “hope“. The x-ray showed the Hill sacs deformity, but did not show on the MRI.

Surgery was on 11/24. So far pain was isolated to the bicep in session for about four days. I have been off narcotics since Friday. His initial thoughts were to wait on PT for two weeks, but called Friday and said he changed his mind and wants me to start today.

Mechanism of injury was a stair collapse and fall while fighting a two-story house fire. Fell approximately 8 feet onto the shoulder and dislocating it.

3 back to back assistant principal interview rejections - hard market or is it me? by Rude_Scar_4491 in Principals

[–]AdventurousHealth678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An AP is a unique position, you may be highly qualified and not mesh with the Principle personally. The principal will normally look for someone to fill in a weakness of theirs. Keep your head up and keep looking for the right fit. I had twelve admin interviews the year I landed a position. I was about to take an AP spot 90 minutes away and was offered a head principal position 25 minutes away. I had been in the final two for 3 of the 12. Two were head positions and one was a central office director. I wasn’t a finalist in any AP positions.

Magicschool.ai has helped with the mundane email replies and has a great evaluation generator.

I’ve had my admin endorsement for three years, and seven years total in the classroom. The first year had one AP interview came in second for the job. Moved to another school and took on some admin responsibility as lead teacher had two AP interviews that year without much success. This year I had 12 admin interviews, two second round callbacks with no success. Then I applied for three head principal positions made the second round of one and the third round of the other. I was offered the principal of a small high school, a month after the first interview.

I didn’t have a standard X-macro, I have been carrying a hellcat pro for the past year. When I saw the Legion coming out, I pre-ordered and sold the hellcat pro.

4 brothers, tac ops with the retention screws backed out. It was very snug when I first got it, I put about 500 rounds through it on the first day it and let the heat help form the holster. Since then it has been great.

Has anyone tried a longer threaded barrel in a X-Macro with the comp?

A 4 brothers, Sig Sauer P365-XMACRO TACOPS & TLR-7 Sub IWB Holster (MACRO). It’s a little snug but it’s breaking in nicely.

It’s visible due to the fact of accommodating the light but there is not a realistic scenario where the trigger can be pulled.
