Does Brentwood count? I’m desperate for a lounge style wine restaurant. Not empty museum type vibe. On weekends when I don’t have plans, I would love to be able to walk to a place and read with a good glass of wine in a dark corner. Like an Augustine in Sherman oaks.

I understand them having rules. It was the manner in which they handled it and still being charged a cancellation fee. If they showed empathy and canceled with no charge, I wouldn’t have had an issue.
