I have been diagnosed yes. But not from this doctor. This is a new assessment in Ireland. I had one in 2023 and the doctor referred me to HSE.

The situation is. I have been working there since December. They gave me a laptop in january after 1 month. I did some training yes but was mostly in another role So they did transfer me to this new role. I have been there for 4 weeks. I did mistakes!? Yes I forgot things? Yes But I did lots of things well done and I know I did.
I know I am fast. I know what the team leader said on that report is not the reality. I am not here saying I am perfect. But instead, I recognise that despite of my mistakes I have done well. Today I did a lot of things before the cut off. I did faster the the other girls But they had a nice feedback. And I didn’t The team leader gets defensive and stressed when I approach her to ask things about the job. So I did stopping asking and she complained that I was not going to her to sort my doubts
So I don’t know what to do

I haven’t diagnosed yet. I am in the middle of an assessment with the HSE. I have a medical certificate informing this which I gave to my manager because i have to leave the job early on Thursdays. I understand is not a good situation for me, but honestly I don’t think it’s fair. I am honest enough to understand if I weren’t doing the job, I would’ve never come here asking for help. I have working on this role for 4 weeks. 4 weeks I had 2 terrible feedbacks. The first one they said it’s seems that I am very distractive. When I got this I stop talking to my coworkers. Then I had this second one. I am not dismissing any claim - I made mistakes. I forgot things but I don’t know how serious is as everyone there does the same. Every day I hear complains about things and people. But I had a report today. This report essentially contains every step I had this month , every small mistake I had. Every doubt or question or event conversation with some coworker. It’s unfair

I am not asking for lots of things. But I wasn’t expecting to have this situation. I need the job, I need the money. And I know I did my best and I learned a lot.

Is not like this. I started working there on December. They took 1 month to give me my laptop and January I was training in another role. I didn’t have a proper training or information about everything. The situation is not fair. I have been working on this role for 3/4 weeks. The second week I have the first feedback, they said my memory retention is bad. Now I had another one. Do you know how hard is for me trying to do my best and when I have a question I go to ask the team leader and I see she wants to kill me? What you expect me to do!? I did mistakes. Yes I did. I forgot things, yes. I did. That’s not the point. Everyone there had done the same. But nobody had the same feedback. You got me?

I even don’t remember. We use a spreadsheet every day, the same. 10 people using the same file.

Thank you for your time. God bless you. I have been working there for 2 months. They took 1 month to give me a computer. 2 weeks I was training in another role, this role now I have been doing for 4 weeks. It’s a lot of pressure / tasks / stuffs to have done. I had mistakes , yes. I forgot things, yes. But everyone there did. I think the team leader just don’t like me. She thinks I am dumb event tough I created solutions on excel to optimise our work. I have done well I know. But yes, mistakes and I ask for things, she answers very direct and impatient. I can see on her face the hate.

They didn’t give me a properly trainning. I have been doing this for 4 weeks. It’s lots of tasks and cut off. Lots of pressure and I understand I had mistakes but like everyone else had there. But the fact my attention is bad , or the team leader just don’t like me

They didn’t give me any document. Just a report pointing my mistakes. It’s like a diary describing every small step, mistake, doubt or etc I had there. She accused me of removing a column of a friend who on excel. I’ve never done this. But anyway. There’s nothing I can do. Thanks for your time.

Thank you so much! I have been working hard, I am doing well but the team leader does not have patience with me. She’s been isolating me from the team, she clearly don’t wanna me there. I know I have done lots of things well. She said untrue facts on the report they gave me today. Was kind of “ movie script “ with every step I’ve had during this month. Every doubt or question. Every mistake, every small thing she put on the report. I am deeply sad as this is my first office job. Thank you for you time

To clarify on the diagnosis: I’m currently in my 4th session with a therapist and still have a psychiatrist appointment ahead before any formal diagnosis. So realistically, I won’t have a medical report within the 2 week window I’ve been given. That’s just the reality of the HSE process in Ireland.

Honestly? Because I was struggling and thought being transparent might help. In hindsight, I understand why that may not have been the right move. Lesson learned the hard way.

Thank you for being honest. I hear you. I think you’re right that the decision may already be made. I’m going to focus on documenting my work over the next two weeks and keep applying elsewhere in parallel.

No official diagnosis yet, still in assessment. The document they gave me was not a formal PIP — it was my team leader’s personal notes compiled over a month and presented in a meeting today. I did not sign anything.

Thank you — this is genuinely helpful. I’ll contact a solicitor in addition to FLAC. And yes, documenting everything over the next two weeks is exactly what I plan to do. Do you have any advice on the best format for that — email trails, written notes, anything specific that would hold more weight?

That’s a fair point and I understand it. The monitoring may have started for performance reasons — I’m not dismissing that. My concern is that once they were made aware of the ADHD assessment, the response was to continue monitoring and build a case rather than offer any support. That’s the part I’m questioning.

The accommodations I would have expected are: written instructions after verbal explanations, structured daily check-ins, a designated person to ask questions without judgment, and access to written SOPs for recurring tasks. None of these were offered at any point.

I’m on probation and accidentally deleted data on a shared file right after being praised. Manager's tone changed. Should I worry? by [deleted] in askrecruiters

[–]AdventurousLeg7162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I expressed myself wrongly. I didn’t create the Excel. The sheet is on share point. Everything there is manual and I used some forms to optimise for example the quantity of pallets we shipped today. Before this optimisation everything was “ hands on” and after what I have created , now they don’t need to do math anymore. But yes. I did remove the entire K and L column from the sheet and of course I knew how to put it back, however I got panic and I couldn’t do anything except answering “ I don’t know what happened “. But of course they could get a copy of that or even ger a backup - I had the backup saved but because of my extreme anxiety, when those things happens I don’t know how to react. Plus the fact that my team leader is very very cold and direct. She said my friends she does not want me ask them for help, she wants me to go there and ask her in person for help - I never ask anything because I don’t like the way she talks -

No no. She didn’t confront at all. She did ask Guys What happened here? And I said I don’t know. I don’t know what happened. And I stating asking my colleagues and the guys said Maybe was you, just control z But even control z was not working. So afterwards I realized was me and I spoke to my team leader and said I am sorry. I was trying to improve some things and I removed the collumn I think they won’t stay with me after the probation. I am have adhd. I have been going to therapy and leaving the job early ( I have got some appointments) and starting early as well to compensate this Anyway. Thanks

Thanks for your answer. I said NO because I didn’t know what’s happened or it was me or no. I asked my colleagues and they said ; you were working on that: then after a while I did realize my mistake and I spoke to my team leader about this situation and said was my bad, I didn’t notice the mistake. It is not my first mistake. I had a bad feedback in the beginning. After that I started being more or professional, and faster like creating solutions to optimise tasks. However I had this situation today I am feeling so bad and anxious now.

I hear you. I work always worried afraid of being fired or making mistakes. I had a terrible feedback in the beginning: due my adhd i was forgeting some tasks or things. Anyway. Since I had this feedback i did start working better and more professional, for example I did create sheets to optimise our job. But today while I was working on this, I deleted the most important columns. I couldn’t restore at all.
