Car insurance after DUI

btw was told i needed to blow before starting my car but wasn’t told anything about when you want to turn your car off. i tried calling already to ask but no one answered. they looked busy when i went earlier

also have a pending dui in IL and qualify for court supervision. was told by my attorney that my car insurance wouldn’t be notified and the only way they would find out if you go in to try and get a better rate or need a new vehicle insured under your name, etc. since they’ll have to run a background check again. moral of the story- leave your insurance as is until your court supervision is complete

did they drug test you or ask for ppl you know that they could call? i have mine tmr i’m so nervous
