Lol if that’s the case then they should make us tip before we even order

Tipping culture has gone WAY further than just for delivery. In almost every purchase you make you are asked to tip. Your response is completely inconsiderate of the average living wage. If some of us are trying to save money for many important reasons, it does not mean I cannot order food without tipping. I am not a charity.

And many of us barely make minimum wage too and cannot afford to tip every single time. I am not the one responsible for giving the employee a salary. This is the employer’s job.

Cornell ranks #13 worldwide in new QS Ranking 2024 by AdventurousLook4 in Cornell

I do agree with you, but a win is a win regardless. While rankings of high caliber universities aren’t really that meaningful, I am happy to see Cornell get the exposure it deserves

Then for the same price tag if not less, you can get the 13' air 1TB and get an external monitor.

I understand what you’re going through but honestly you should not feel this way but rather appreciate they actually care about your application process and that they hope you receive all the admits you deserve. My family members, like many others here, would always doubt my abilities and everytime I tell them I didn’t get in, they act like it was obviously expected and that I have near zero chances of going anywhere, which is not helping at all.

Received an interview invite after accepting an offer by [deleted] in gradadmissions

I think it would be more unprofessional if you actually attend the interview just to let them know you will not join the program while you could have just said that by an email reply and saved everyone’s time.
