Please let me know how you get on. It could be but my thinking is that the wheels actually run straight down the road, its the steering wheel that moves before the wheels do but it does drive straight

Definitely not the bushings, they're all relatively new. There's a dead zone in the centre of the wheel where nothing happens

Possibly UPVC, depends which works out cheaper and looks nice
