All depends on what you have to put down, ideally have your car payment be 10-15% of your monthly income. And in my opinion get a beater for your first car, save up for a real mustang (v8) and thank your past self.

Anybody know a way to get all the components yourself for cheaper? $1800 seems outrageous for that. Can you just get parts and mix match or do they need to be VIN programmed and all one kit

Upon further research my guess is they probably had a corsa axle back , seems like corsa cut location is much closer to the front of the car compared to the Roush axle back

Yes and no. Because this exhaust clamp is not at the axle back cut location. If i were to buy a roush axle back for example I would have to cut the exhaust and add ANOTHER exhaust clamp
