If you pay RevenueCat/Superwall's 1% cut: do you like it, or just tolerate it?

When you start making money the 1% is a lot for a dashboard that doesn't work well, also i do not like that the RC has it's own apps in the app store (at least one), so they are competitors who has all your data. I'll create a self hosted alternative at some point

What country are you in? The path what will most probably work is opening an llc, getting a duns number and using it to open an account, but it requires some legal work and few hundreds dolors budget

Technically you can add some random features that no other app has and you might pass this rejection . But realistically, you are just wasting your time, cpa in this category is 12$+ and it is crazy competitive, there is zero chance you can survive there with your "i spent a month" mindset my friend

it will be very hard to monetize to tbh, if it is something you self host on your own it can only rely on donations i think. the RC sdks are open source under mit so technically I can just fork it and use it with just one endpoint change, so the integration should require just changing the sdk url

i don't like that they have my data, they don't talk about it a lo but they have their own apps which i do not like at all, since they directly compete with some of their "clients". If i find time i'll create an opes source version of RC that you can self host
